Tamsin is an award-winning British actor of stage and screen. She has travelled widely to see first-hand how conflict and poverty affects women and how communities can transform themselves.

Hebdavi Kyeya
Hebdavi has worked in the field of development for over ten years and is currently Tearfund’s Regional Director for East & Central Africa based in the DRC.

Baroness Arminka Helic
Baroness Helić is credited with persuading William Hague to launch the UK's Global Sexual Violence Initiative. She has worked with Angelina Jolie to draw attention to the issue and writes frequently on the topic of conflict, refugees and sexual violence.

Dr Elaine Storkey
Elaine is an English philosopher, sociologist, and theologian. She has travelled widely and worked extensively on issues of gender-violence.

Hannah Rose Thomas
Hannah is an artist and author of the book Tears of Gold, which will be launched at the event. She has run art workshops in several war-torn countries, working with women who were affected.

Cris Huddleston
Cris oversees the frontline work of Justice and Care in the UK and Romania, working to tackle modern slavery.

Oddny and Steve Gumaer
Oddny Gumaer and her husband, Steve, founded Partners Relief & Development and more recently the Novi Community, whose mission is to restore childhoods disrupted by war. They have worked with displaced people in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Ukraine.

Henrietta Blyth
Henrietta is the CEO of Open Doors, working to support the persecuted church around the world. Hannah Rose Thomas travelled with Open Doors to Nigeria to meet Christian women affected by violence there.

Hazel Thompson
Hazel has been documenting women affected war and gender based violence for over 20 years around the world, with her exhibition displaying portraits of women represented from 16 different countries.

Hannah is an artist and author of the book Tears of Gold, which will be launched at the event.
Hannah has travelled to some of the most violent places on earth to meet women affected by war. She led trauma-healing art workshops but also painted stunning portraits of the women, helping to tell their stories and restore their dignity.
Hazel Thompson
Hazel Thompson is a seasoned and multi award-winning British photojournalist. Hazel has been documenting women affected war and gender-based violence for over 20 years around the world, with her exhibition displaying portraits of women represented from 16 different countries.
